Black Box by Boschinistudio

A flat by Boschinistudio of Verona is configured as a warm ‘black box’ defined by a continuous stained wood floor and rough plasters. The spaces are carefully designed in an interplay of alignments between the partitions, the floor geometries, the window and door frames and the largely custom-made furniture. Marble enriches the material palette thanks to the kitchen top and the supports of a large table in Verde Alpi and the free-standing washbasins of the bathrooms in Black Marquinia.

The flat reconfirms Pibamarmi's ability to support the client and the designer along the whole execution cycle of the stone work, from the supply of materials, to the optimisation of the project, to the processing of the finished product. Configured as a lean and independent smart company, Pibamarmi is strengthened by the technical training and solid experience of its operators strongly oriented to develop a remarkable customisation of products through a true sartorial vocation to stone design.

All the stone materials used in the project by Boschinistudio are natural and are treated with Acid Shield, Pibamarmi's innovative treatment that, without altering the chromatic qualities of the materials, protects them from stains, halos, scratches and loss of tone and brilliance. Acid Shield is the result of the company's internal research and is applied in-house, not only on slabs and other flat objects, but also on three-dimensional, turned or hollowed-out items.
